Dogpile - A Toronto-based industrial band established in the late 80’s - has come back from a 15 year hiatus with a hard hitting, ambient, and dark industrial track in lieu of their close friend and tour managers passing. The track has been released as a ‘charitable donation’ of sorts, inspiring fans to bring awareness to The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, where all donations and funds raised will be donated. The group claims that it is important to bring awareness to our environment, saying “save the planet, not humanity”.
The track itself stays true to their roots, keeping their gritty, deep distorted basslines, heavy techno-based drums, ambient and tranquil guitar leads, and grungy, aggresive vocals overlaid appropriately on this dark, yet inspiring track.
